What you’ll do:
- Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for new and existing structures
- Coordinate projects with clients, architects and other disciplines as necessary
- Manage workloads with junior engineers and the drafting department to deliver construction documents on time
- Work closely with general contractors to provide alternative designs and solutions, ensuring construction is completed on schedule and within budget
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to developing the next generation of talent
- Visit project sites for building surveys and structural observations
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. (M.S. Preferred)
- 3+ years working in the field of structural engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in state of California
- Advanced level of proficiency in structural engineering design, planning and analysis
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, capable of managing projects from proposal to construction administration
- A team player who thrives in collaborative environments
