The new six-story office building rising along Red Hill will soon serve as the North American headquarters for Advantech USA. Designed to support both innovation and collaboration, the building is currently under construction and targeted for completion by summer 2026. With a total floor area of over 100,000 square feet, it will house a mix of corporate offices and educational partnership spaces, including a dedicated second floor for training and outreach. The structural system consists of a steel frame with buckling-restrained braced frames and special moment frames to meet California’s stringent seismic requirements. Concrete-filled metal deck slabs span between beams, and the structure is supported by shallow foundations over ground-improved soil.
The project represents a strong partnership between the design and construction teams, including Zatu Design Build Architects, Herdman Architecture + Design, Inc., Uprite Construction Corporation, Schuff Steel, and Largo Concrete, Inc. While the building is still taking shape, major milestones like the steel top-out mark significant progress on the path toward completion. Once finished, the facility will stand as a modern, resilient, and efficient home base for Advantech’s growing presence in the region.
