Five levels, two brands, one building. Genesis of San Bruno, opened in August 2026 by Cardinale Automotive Group, has its own front door in a new ground-up facility shared with Hyundai on the San Francisco Peninsula. Inventory parks on two basement levels and on the roof. The ground floor holds the showroom and service bays, and the second floor combines more of both with high-density inventory in mechanical parking stackers.

Conclusion

To serve that many uses, the structure changes from floor to floor. Mild-reinforced concrete forms the basement levels, and post-tensioned slabs carry the floors above: a two-way flat plate at the front, where eliminating beams gives the showroom extra headroom, and one-way slabs on beams at the back, providing long clear spans over the service bays. Special reinforced concrete shear walls tie it all together, giving two brands one building that works for both.
